Hope you enjoyed your Fourth of July weekend. We started Saturday pretty quiet and restful. Lots of sleep and Netflix (mostly Disney movies). Sunday night, we had dinner over Neli's (Mark's sister) house enjoying the summer breeze. We ate, chatted and had lots of delicious dessert. Monday was full of organizing, burgers and sparklers at home. Ryu enjoyed blowing out the sparklers while watching fireworks up in the sky. Our next door neighbor came out with the loud, crazy fire crackers and I think Ryu was scared. He held my hand really tight and said, "I wanna go inside!" I asked him if he was afraid of the loud noises but he shook his head, "No, Mommy. I wanna go inside." Then ran inside. We end up giving the rest of our sparklers to the neighbors. My poor little guy...I'm glad he at least enjoyed some fireworks.
